Henderson County Distribution Center Update 10/09/2024
(please excuse duplication of emails as this is sent out to several distribution lists)
Henderson County continues to adjust the processes as response needs shift. We want organizations, businesses, and churches to be able to access what they need to help distribute supplies.
Here is the new process effective immediately:
Online Order: Order Form (google form) This is the preferred method of getting supplies at this time. The pdf has a QR code linked to the order form.
OR
Call in order: 828-753-3781 (if no online access to order form)Distribution Center will call when your order is ready for pick up.
Limited delivery options: if needed, let them know and they will see what they can work out.
Distribution Center: 118 McAbee Ct, Flat Rock—From I-26 exit 53 > McMurray Rd (@ Zaxbys) > 0.9 mi to McAbee Court
Please note that items are subject to availability and not guaranteed.
Due to high traffic volume, Distribution Center requests no drop in orders/shoppers at this time. Updates and changes will be shared as processes shift to meet demands.
World Central Kitchen Henderson County Assessment Leads
World Central Kitchen is providing ongoing response to the need for hot meals and water in the Southeastern US impacted by hurricane Helene. These leads are sent directly to the scout volunteers working in the areas which may rotate in and out who will contact and you as soon as they can to further asses your needs or discuss your concern about communities who are experiencing hunger and thirst right now.
If you have need in a different county you may use this form and we will connect you with a World Central Kitchen scout closer to you to assess your needs.
CURRENT SCOUTS: Sam Scalise, Kristen Schaefer, Micheal Beam (Phasing out of Henderson and moving into Polk). Expect to hear and meet scouts at potential drop locations.
